Overview
This milestone marks the end of our feature development and the final major milestone before polishing and preparing for the last presentation. Looking back, this project has had its highs and lows, but we've come a long way. Thank you all for the hard work you've put into Friendly Fire so far.
While we've made significant progress, we're not finished yet. This is arguably our most important milestone since Milestone 0 because it represents our last opportunity to implement major features before shifting our focus entirely to polish and bug fixing. The highest priority is completing and integrating the game's story, while also addressing the feedback we received. We have to lock in this last milestone. We can not waste time nor can we afford to give everyone slack.
- Improve overall lighting
- Fix toon shader issues
- Improve the typewriter text effect
- Make levels and chatroom feel more cohesive
- Improve UI consistency and readability
- Finish implementing all dialogue and remaining levels
- Give characters more personality through animations, facial expressions, and lighting
- Add more environmental storytelling
- Finish Echo's levels
- Properly texture every level
- Improve lighting throughout all levels
- Finish and implement the stories for Echo, Tilt, and Colt
- Complete and polish the UI (Post Task, Leaderboard, HUD, Chat Boxes)
- Add remaining character portraits and animations
- Expand environmental storytelling
- Add random character barks
- Add more interactable objects (ex: Colt making jokes about the other games)
